With Motown, Youngboy never broke a deal

According to reports, rapper Baton Rouge plans to release music through Motown in 2023. Upon contacting a YoungBoy representative, the collector can confirm the signing. The news comes on the heels of his announcement last year that he would form a joint venture with Motown Records and launch a group called Never Broke Again.

During that time, YoungBoy said, “I felt it was my duty to the artists to make sure I found the best partner for my brand, and I felt I had a responsibility to them.” “I look forward to working with Ethiopia, Keno and Motown Records.”

YB teamed up with DJ Drama to release “Ma I Got a Family,” which marks the sixth NBA YoungBoy show this year, after Colors, The Last Slimeto, Better Than You, Realer 2, and 3800 Degrees. YoungBoy announced a few months ago that he will release four more albums before 2023 after releasing 19 track LPs.

Sign a global project deal with Motown in 2021

Since YB has already teamed up with Motown, this move shouldn’t surprise you. A global project deal was signed between Never Broke Again and Motown in 2021, resulting in the productions of Never Broke Again: The Compilation Volume 1 (2021) and Green Flag Activity (2023).

In addition to Nightmare on 38th Street, another collection entitled Nightmare on 38th Street is in preparation on Friday. After signing his new contract, it looks like NBA YoungBoy will carry the momentum he’s built in the past few years until 2023.

The series of projects he’s been dropping over the past month has been accompanied by the news that his manager is planning a tour. YB may not have been able to travel due to his legal issues, but he and his team are looking forward to the time when he won’t be under house arrest. This is something that we hope will align with his plans for 2023, so let’s hope it happens.

About NBA YoungBoy

Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, better known by his stage name NBA YoungBoy, is an American rapper who debuted on the scene in 2016 as one of the most promising stars of the current generation of rappers. In his early years, Gaulden developed a keen interest in rap and recording. In 2015, at the age of 16, he released his debut album inspired by local artists.

Right after that, he launched the Mind of Danger trilogy. His career was on the rise, and all seemed to be fine until he was arrested on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder. However, NBA YoungBoy didn’t take it easy. Instead, he immersed himself deeply in his music career, not stopping at any point.

The release of his song while in prison was overshadowed by uncertainty about the future of his burgeoning career. As a result of winning or losing, it became an overnight sensation. He charted various spots on the Billboard Hot 100 with hits like Untouchables, No Smoke, and Outside Today.
